Dixon Technologies to Manufacture Nokia Smartphones in India

Dixon Technologies, through its subsidiary Padget Electronics has entered into a partnership with HMD Global to manufacture Nokia smartphones in India. Paget Electronics will manufacture the smartphones of Nokia from its Noida-based manufacturing plant.

“It gives us immense pleasure to announce that we have partnered with HMD Global as the manufacturers of Nokia smartphones in India, which is an iconic brand. We are sure that with their vision and stringent industry-leading processes, combined with our expertise in manufacturing, we will be able to bring a range of Nokia smartphones to customers,” said Atul B. Chairman and Managing Director, Dixon Technologies.

Padget Electronics has also signed an agreement with Motorola to manufacture Motorola branded smartphones in the country. Padget has been recently approved by the central government under the PLI scheme for the mobilephone segment.
