Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company has recently launched its
new model Reno 5 Pro 5G smartphone in India. The new smartphone which comes
with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage capacity is priced at INR 35,990
in the Indian market.
The company said that it will manufacture the new smartphone
at the manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The company has increased
the manufacturing capacity of the facility in Noida to 50 million phones per
year.
OPPO has set up its first 5G innovation lab in India. The
lab will support the company in developing core 5G technologies and elevating 5G
experience across the globe.
“In 2021, we will carry on this growth legacy with much more
innovative products and concepts to make the life of our users even better.
Building upon our 5G and IoT product category will be one of the key focus
areas for us,” Tasleem Arif, head of R&D OPPO India.
